Alberta Cancer Foundation
The Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF) – the official fundraising partner for all 17 Cancer Control cancer centres in Alberta – exists to create more moments for Albertans facing cancer. They do this by inspiring the community to give to innovation in detection, treatment, and care.
Thanks to the commitment of their donors, they are able to help provide world-class cancer care for all Albertans and are dedicated to supporting all aspects of the cancer journey, from diagnosis to survivorship or palliative care. Through their partnership with Alberta Health Services, Cancer Care Alberta and the universities in Calgary and Edmonton, the ACF represents the interests of over 200,000 donors, raises more than $25 million annually and manages more than $150 million in endowments and funds. It is the largest provincially-based health care foundation in Alberta and is the largest non-government investor in cancer research in the province. This includes supporting ground-breaking research and enhanced care initiatives that will lead to advancements and provide real-life returns. Initiatives that will reduce risk, detect cancer
earlier, provide better treatment options and improve patient and family quality of life and care.
