National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is a special day celebrated annually on the fifteenth of November. The purpose of this day is to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions of philanthropy - and those people active in the philanthropic community - have made in our lives, our communities and our world.

National Philanthropy Day celebrates our vibrant philanthropic community and honors individuals and organizations whose philanthropic achievements have made an impact in our region. It is an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of those who help transform our community through their hard work, financial contributions, and dedicated service.

Join us for the 2024 National Philanthropy Day Luncheon, where we will be honouring 6 Generosity of Spirit Award recipients, the Hazel Gillespie Community Investment Leadership Award and AFP Calgary & Area's Outstanding Fundraising Professionals.

Join us for our 30th Anniversary of celebrating National Philanthropy Day in Calgary.  We return to the Imperial Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Calgary and want you to join us for a fabulous luncheon - featuring 7 Generosity of Spirit
