The Lunch & Learn Series is a cornerstone of our professional development strategy. Designed to equip fundraisers and nonprofit leaders with practical tools and forward-looking insights, the program supports revenue growth, donor engagement excellence, and sector leadership.
Each session features experienced practitioners and thought leaders sharing practical strategies and emerging trends. Designed to be both accessible and sophisticated, the series combines high-quality content with meaningful peer connection, equipping professionals at every stage of their careers to lead with confidence and impact.
Through consistent, high-quality programming, the series builds capacity across the philanthropic community and contributes to stronger organizational outcomes.
AFP Global provides fundraising courses designed to assist programs for every stage of a fund development career.
We offer these three courses:
- Fundamentals of Fundraising
- CFRE Refresher Course
- Donor Relations
Twice each year we gather to celebrate our community. In June we gather to celebrate the upcoming Calgary Stampede at our Pre-Stampede Social, co-hosted with our colleagues at the CAGP Southern Roundtable. In January, after the rush of the holidays, we gather for our Post-Holiday social. Both are great opportunities to celebrate the milestones of the season and connecting with colleagues new to the profession and reconnect with friends. These social events are hosted in local breweries, distilleries or restaurants. Join us as get engaged with your professional community.
