Job Overview
A relationship builder at heart, the Account Manager role is to ensure buyer and client needs are understood and met. They build relationships with prospective buyers before they become clients and then, assist users in adopting Wisely during a free trial period. Using our CRM (HubSpot) you will track activities and work with fundraisers to set-up a free trial of Wisely. Once the free trial system is set-up, you will then help the fundraisers use Wisely to build and grow their portfolio.
Working with the COO and our marketing team, the Account Manager will focus their time on both prospective buyers and clients. A self starter who loves working with others, you will help shape the onboarding path for new users and help set-up automated tasks that will be managed by our CRM. The Account Manager will also follow-up on leads and clients to ensure they understand what is next in their journey with Wisely.
Typically the first contact with a lead will be driven by content on our website, digital ads or email and then, move into a free trial period. The Account Manager will then help monitor the funnel and processes that convert those leads into clients.
The majority of interactions with clients will take place using digital communication.
Responsibilities and Duties
The position is focused on relationship building with buyers and clients. Primary duties include:
- Regular meeting with clients
- Follow-up with leads to convert to free trials
- Onboarding new users
- Converting free trials into paid clients
- Pass feedback to the development team for product improvements
Qualifications
- Experience in account management, sales, fundraising or customer service
- Motivated to build relationships and support clients
- Objective-driven individual, self-motivated, enthusiastic and brings a positive attitude
- Understanding (or willingness to learn) of the fundraising industry
- Experienced using Hubspot CRM
- Growth mindset and constantly motivated to iterate and improve
Target hiring range is $50-55K
