Position
The Associate Director of Advancement, working closely with the other members of the Advancement team, is responsible for the school’s Annual Giving appeal, cultivating prospective Major Gifts donors, and overseeing the Advancement communication, all in support of the school’s strategic plan.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Support the planning and implementation of a comprehensive Annual Giving program with a goal to increase the number of donors and the amount raised each year.
● Prepare monthly/quarterly annual giving reports for Director of Advancement.
● Identify, recruit and train volunteers to assist with Annual Giving appeal.
● Work closely with faculty to identify community members as potential volunteers, donors and help provide coordination with fundraising efforts.
● Manage communications and solicitation strategies to achieve consistent and strong growth in revenue and participation rates, as well as donor engagement and satisfaction among all stakeholders.
● Actively participate to develop and implement major gift fundraising strategies to maximize funding of key initiatives within the School’s Academy campaign planning or any future campaigns.
● Initiate and manage to improve the school’s relations to engage parents through various engagement strategies. This will include parent socials; donor appreciation events and other engagement and other engagement means.
● Manage relationships with upwards of 50+ Major Gift Prospects (gifts ranging in size from multi year pledges $25,000 – $100,000) throughout the development cycle (cultivation – stewardship).
● Engage with development of key messages and written communication to advance strategic priorities including cultivation and celebrations of donors.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
● Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
● Strong inclination to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, and think strategically and creatively.
● Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Experience

● 5 years of related professional experience
● Completion of a Criminal Record Check
