The Giving Report 2025: Dive Into Trends Changing Individual Gifts, Online Fundraising, and Canadian Charities

June 11 @ 4:00 pm 7:00 pm MDT

Uncertainty, transformation, and ongoing crisis is changing the charitable landscape. The percentage of Canadians giving to charities is on the decline, online giving has narrowed in on local giving, and the types of causes Canadians are supporting is shifting.

In this one-hour session, join Allen Davidov, Senior Vice President & Practice Leader at Environics Analytics and Nicole Danesi, Senior Manager, Strategic Communications and Brand at CanadaHelps to dive into findings from the 2025 edition of The Giving Report prior to the release to the public. This session will highlight:

  • Shifting giving trends highlighting a declining donor rate, effects of the 2024 Canada Post strike, greater support for Indigenous charities, and more.
  • Silver linings among giving trends such as monthly giving, securities, and GivingTuesday.
  • Tangible ways your charity can tackle challenges to help your organization and mission thrive.

Join Nicole and Allen for this after-work learning & social session in downtown Calgary.
