In addition to the networking benefits of AFP membership, AFP Calgary offers its members the opportunity to participate in a curated mentorship program.
When you’d like to discuss such things as career direction, challenges and development opportunities, mentorship might be a great next step for you. As an AFP member you can apply to be paired with a fundraising mentor with whom you can discuss some of your current needs and challenges within the profession.
For experienced fundraisers, acting as a mentor is a wonderful way to give back to the AFP community, to help develop and keep new professionals in our field, as well as to further develop your leadership skills.
AFP Calgary takes applications throughout the year and once you’ve applied the Mentorship Chair will touch base about next steps in the process.
If you are interested in being either a mentee or a mentor, please review the Mentorship Handbook and apply using one of the application forms linked below.
