At Calgary Alternative Support Services Inc. (CASS), we’re all about breaking down barriers and building genuine connections. Since 1988, we’ve been working to challenge the isolation and limited opportunities often experienced by people with disabilities. At the heart of our mission is a simple but powerful belief: everyone has unique strengths and talents to share—and we’re here to help uncover and celebrate them.
We bring together passionate human services professionals who are committed to empowering individuals and creating meaningful community connections. Whether it’s finding a safe, welcoming place to live, landing that first job, or exploring learning and social opportunities, we’re here to support possibilities and open doors.
We are looking for someone who shares our values to take on an exciting new role: Fundraising Manager.
This is an incredible opportunity to create, shape, and lead CASS’s fundraising efforts from the ground up. We’re seeking a strategic, relationship-driven professional who understands the power of community and wants to make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
As our Fundraising Manager, you’ll:
- Lead the development and execution of our fundraising and community engagement strategy
- Cultivate and grow a base of individual donors, corporate partners, and community supporters
- Drive revenue through peer-to-peer fundraising, community-based events, and creative engagement programs
- Develop and implement a robust donor stewardship plan, focused on meaningful recognition, impactful communication, and engaging experiences
- Champion our brand voice and ensure alignment across all fundraising and outreach efforts
- Lead CASS’s organizational communication strategy, enhancing internal and external messaging to build awareness, strengthen partner relationships, and support organizational goals
- Manage and elevate CASS’s public presence through storytelling, content creation, and brand stewardship
- Act as an ambassador and connector for CASS, representing the organization at networking events and one-on-one meetings
This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of relationship-based fundraising, communications, and brand promotion. You’ll be at the forefront of establishing a new function within CASS—balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive impact and growth.
